10 Most Poisonous & Dangerous Snakes In the World

1. Belcher’s Sea Snake
You may be somewhat familiar with these sea snakes. They are quite common, and you may have seen them in films or even in person. They are recognizable from their stripes. Usually these snakes have no interest in confrontation, but if one feels threatened, it may bite you. Three out of four times this will be no big deal, since only about one quarter of Belcher’s Sea Snakes carry venom. Those that do though have the highest concentration of venom in existence. Just a few milligrams has the capacity to kill thousands of human beings, making this the most poisonous snake in the world. Nonetheless, most Belcher’s Sea Snakes are quite harmless thanks to a docile personality and a lack of venom.

2. Rattlesnake
When most people think of poisonous snakes, the rattlesnake springs to mind pretty quickly. These snakes are found throughout the Americas and are actually a type of viper. Their name comes of course from the rattle which is found at the end of the tail and which creates a distinctive noise. Eastern Diamondbacks are the most poisonous of all rattlesnakes. Thankfully, only about 4% of bites result in fatalities with prompt treatment, but untreated, any rattlesnake bite has the potential to kill. The venom can also cause permanent damage to organs and may even lead to the loss of a limb.

3. Death Adder
You know that famous legend about Cleopatra using a snake to kill herself? The type of snake she supposedly used was a death adder. You can find these snakes throughout Australia, New Guinea, and other regions. A bite can result in paralysis, respiratory arrest, and death inside of only six hours. With fast treatment, a patient is unlikely to die, but without treatment, about 50% of bites are lethal. Death adders also prey on other snakes.

4. Inland Taipan
While it’s difficult to be as impressed by the Inland Taipan after learning about the concentration of venom in a Belcher’s Sea Snake bite, it’d be foolish to discount the Taipan just because its bite can only kill as many as 100 people! Taipans usually avoid human contact, however, and you are unlikely to ever encounter one.

5. Eastern Brown Snake
This type of snake is among the few which are actually aggressive. It is commonly found in Australia, and may be found in populated areas like cities, not just remote locations. If it perceives someone as a threat, it will actually chase that person out of its territory. If the snake is not confident of its safety, it may decide to bite. If it does so, it may bite many times during a single attack. Less than half contain venom, but those that do can cause paralysis or death. Because of its proximity to population centers and its aggression, you could argue the Eastern Brown Snake is the most dangerous snake in the world.

6. Blue Krait
This snake is not as well known as some, but its venom is 16 times more potent than that of the cobra! There also is no really good antivenin to use, which makes it quite deadly. The Blue Krait tends to keep to itself and usually only comes out at night, though, so it is generally easy to avoid.

7. Black Mamba
This snake is usually found in Africa. A single bite contains enough venom to kill ten people (Just ten? You’re still thinking about that sea snake, aren’t you). It can travel as fast as 20 km/h, which makes it the fastest snake on the planet. The Black Mamba will bite a number of times when it attacks, and if the bite is not treated, it is almost always going to result in death.

8. Tiger Snake
This snake is native to Australia and is recognizable because of it width and yellow bands. The bites are very accurate, and without treatment, will result in death nearly three quarters of the time.

9. Philippine Cobra
This snake is easily spotted because of its wide neck collar. While cobras inspire fear, most types of cobras don’t even make this list. The Philippine Cobra, however, does. It doesn’t even have to bite you to poison you. All it has to do is spit, and it can do that from 3 meters away and still hit you. Paralysis from the venom can cause death within thirty minutes.

10. Saw Scaled Viper
This viper is usually found in the Far East and Middle East, and generally comes out after dark. The main danger with this creature is that the venom is so slow-acting that a victim may make the mistake of waiting too long to seek treatment. Treatment can prevent death in the majority of cases, but without it, death will result slowly and painfully over the course of two to four weeks.

Now you know the most dangerous snakes in the world. Some are easy to avoid, like the Blue Krait, while others, like the Eastern Brown Snake, may sneak up on you even in the middle of a busy city. Some snakes are dangerous because of the speed or ferocity of their attacks, others because of how common and widespread they are, and still others because their toxins are so deadly. As you can see, though, the majority are not aggressive, and will steer clear of you if you steer clear of them. And even if you do get bit, with prompt treatment, in most cases you will live.

Deadly 20-foot Burmese Python attack on a Student Zookeeper while taking Picture

A 20-foot Burmese Python killed a student zookeeper in Caracas on the weekend and was caught trying to swallow its dead human prey when horrified coworkers arrived, Venezuela's El Universal newspaper reported.

The other employees of the Caracas zoo had to beat the serpent to make it release the body of 29-year-old Erick Arrieta, whose head it was swallowing.
According to the daily, Arrieta had been working the nightshift alone on Saturday, looking after the reptile section of the zoo.
The university biology student had broken the park's rules by entering the cage holding the snake, which had been donated two months ago and was not on public display, according to the zoo's management.

A snake bite on his arm indicated the python had attacked Arrieta before wrapping itself around him and crushing him to death.
"The young man underestimated the animal's instinct," said the director general of the Parque del Este zoo, Javier Hernandez.
It is the main zoo in Caracas and was built on an old coffee plantation. This zoo includes South American animals such as birds, reptiles, imported felines and elephants.
It is rare for constrictor snakes to kill humans, but it has happened on rare occasions.
Less than a dozen deaths by constrictor have been recorded in North America in the past 20 years.
A man who got bitten by a rattlesnake while trying to take a selfie with it now faces a medical bill of almost £100,000.
Todd Fassler's entire arm went purple after he yanked the deadly animal from a bush and as he was composing the perfect shot it unsurprisingly bit him.
10 News To dd Fassler Horrific Injury: Todd Fassler was attacked by a rattlesnake as he tried to pose for a selfie
"My whole body was shaking and gyrating," he said. "He literally paralysed my whole body."
"My tongue was like out of my mouth, my eyes were off to the side."

Remember the Rattlesnake bite story I did Monday? Guy just sent me this pic of his bill. Uhhhhhhh.....
The man from San Diego in California, US, had to empty two hospitals of their anti-venom supply and have the horrific wound repaired, reported ABC's 10 News.
Ironically Fassler had a pet rattlesnake for a year but after the attack by a reptile relation on July 4 he has released it into the wild.
Getty Western Diamondback Rattlesnake Potentially Deadline: The rattlesnake could have killed Todd, who used up two hospitals' worth of anti-venom to survive
However, when his treatment finished he was slapped with a bill of

His insurance company is in negotiations with the hospital and it is as yet unknown if he will have to contribute.
The python snake is identified in a number of different ways. It has a series of complex patterns on its skin, often taking the form of irregular diamonds in a number of different colors. The outline of the diamonds on a python snake are usually darker in color, mainly black, whereas the interior of the diamond shape is much lighter in color. Albino pythons are mainly white, with perhaps a yellowish outline of the diamond shapes.

Footage uploaded to YouTube shows the remains of the giant reptile chained to the back of a truck

And it's so big its folded to fit.Information uploaded with the clip claims the creature slithered out of a cave AFTER construction crews building a dam rigged an explosion there. And it said the massive predator weighed nearly half a ton, measured 32ft from end to end and was a metre across in places. Now it seems the huge cobra could have been the largest snake ever, with bulges in its body clear signs of its voracious appetite. While an official record is hard to come by, Guinness World Records lists the longest snake – measured in 2011 – as being eight feet shorter.

But the record holder, Medusa, is only the confirmed king of captive snakes, being owned by Full Moon Productions in Kansas City, Missouri. The new discovery was reportedly found by builders at Brazil's Belo Monte Dam, which will be one of the world's largest on completion.Sitting across the Xingu River deep in the Amazon rainforest, it has caused controversy because it will cause hundreds of square miles of flooding. And construction crews are now under fire for not keeping the creature alive.Lucas Nunes said: "The guys in addition to destroying the habitat, kill the animal."While William Santos wrote: "If it was a fisherman killing the snake, he took a fine, but as it is a large company, nobody does anything."And Rulian Lopes Garcia said: "That's A crime. a large company like that should have people trained to handle such an animal. Since they are destroying his habitat."The video of the snake was uploaded by Alexander Flores yesterday and has been watched 8,500 times already.

The king cobra (Ophiophagus hannah) is the world's longest venomous snake, with a length up to 5.6 m (18.5 ft). This species is widespread throughout Southeast Asia and parts of India, and is found mostly in forested areas. The king cobra is fierce, agile, and can deliver a large quantity of highly potent venom in a single bite. It is one of the most dangerous and feared Asiatic snakes

Idaho Museum of Natural History Shows Off Prehistoric Snake Replica and Fossil of 60-Million-Year-Old Snake

Slithering in at 48 feet long and weighing an estimated one-and-a-half tons, a realistic replica of the world’s largest snake is on exhibit at Idaho Museum of Natural History (IMNH) at Idaho State University (ISU) between March 19 and June 12, 2016. Sixty million years ago, in the era after the mass extinction of the dinosaurs, scientists believe that a colossal snake related to modern boa constrictors thrived in a hot tropical climate.

“Can you imagine a snake so big it could swallow a whole crocodile?! I can’t wait to see this monster in Pocatello!” said Leif Tapanila, Director of IMNH.
“Titanoboa: Monster Snake” includes the snake replica and two vertebrae casts made from the original fossils: a 17-foot-long modern green anaconda and the vertebra from Titanoboa, as the giant snake is called. Videos produced by the Smithsonian Channel tell the story of this amazing scientific discovery. The exhibition is a collaboration between the Florida Museum of Natural History, the University of Nebraska, and the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. “Titanoboa” will travel to 15-cities on a national tour organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service.

Bharat Mata Ki Jai those speaking

Squirrel and Lord Rama Story

Lord Rama wanted to cross the bridge to Lanka in order to save Sita from Ravana's clutches. He sat down to pray to the sea god. The sea god, Samudra, arose from the depths of the sea and told Rama to build a bridge across the sea.
All the monkeys got busy building the bridge by placing boulders.

Lord Rama and Squirrel
tiny squirrel was watching everything from his burrow. He decided to help Rama. He began picking sand and scattered twigs and scurried back and forth from the shore to the sea. Little by little the squirrel had gathered an entire heap.

Rama noticed the dedication of this tiny creature. Picking it up on his palm, he warmly stroked the animal with his three fingers. Since then, it is believed that squirrels have three lines on their body.

Squirrels are members of the family Sciuridae, consisting of small or medium-size rodents. The family includes tree squirrelsground squirrelschipmunks, marmots (including woodchucks), flying squirrels, and prairie dogs. Squirrels are indigenous to the Americas, Eurasia, and Africa, and have been introduced to Australia. The earliest known squirrels date from the Eocene and are most closely related to the mountain beaver and to the dormouse among living rodent families.

Mumbai (मुंबई) Complete view form Greater Bombay

Mumbai (Marathi: मुंबई) [1], a cosmopolitan metropolis, earlier known as Bombay, is the largest city in India and the capital of Maharashtra state. Mumbai was originally a conglomeration of seven islands on the Konkan coastline which over time were joined to form the island city of Bombay. The island was in turn joined with the neighbouring island of Salsette to form Greater Bombay. The city has an estimated metropolitan population of 21 million (2005), making it one of the world's most populous cities.

Mumbai is big. It’s full of dreamers and hard-labourers, starlets and gangsters, stray dogs and exotic birds, artists and servants and fisherfolk and crorepatis (millionaires) and lots and lots of people. It has India’s most prolific film industry, some of Asia’s biggest slums (as well as the world’s most expensive home) and the largest tropical forest in an urban zone. Mumbai is India’s financial powerhouse, fashion epicentre and a pulse point of religious tension. It’s even evolved its own language, Bambaiyya Hindi, which is a mix of…everything.
